If my mother hears me calling her a granny, she will not be to happy. But i'm so proud of her. She has been wanting to make something "crafty". I was quite shocked, because she's always saying she's not crafty or has no time. Well she made her first crafty thing. Decorated boxes for her 4 grandaughters easter eggs. I don't think all the easter eggs she got them will fit in this box, but it was nice watching her create. So remember, you never to old to learn something new.
Well, here are mine and Lyn-Maree's organisers we made at the Scrap Studio. You could see i haven't scrapped in a while. First i stuck my ribbon the wrong way and then my paper upside down, but nothing undu can't fix. I then, as us scrappers do. Had to get the zutter for myself. Now i can bind to my hearts content. So watch this space! Thanks for a great evening Belinda. Missed you there Sam. Hopefully i'll be in again soon.
I'm off to the Scrap Studio tonight to make this lovely zutter bound organiser. You can never be too organised. Lyn-Maree is joining us. She likes "organised". Looking forward to seeing the girls and just scrapping for "me". Pop over to their blog. The link is in my creative inspiration. You will definately be inspired. Sam and Belinda create the most wonderful layouts, off the page crafts and many, many more. You will be inspired to create after you've visited their blog. Happy Scrapping
After all the Mosaic. I finally got to some scrapbooking. With Easter around the corner it had to be Easter themed. A pretty easter card an easter box and an easter basket. Fill them with easter eggs, yummy chocolates and give them to someone special. Nice teacher gift too.
For more details on class times go to our class schedule page.
We had our first Keen on Craft workshop on Saturday. People in Cape Town are not so keen on crafts. We were 4 ladies. Very relaxed and kept busy for the 4 hours, doing pewter work, an off the page scrapbooking project and mosaic. Our next class, 7 May seems to be booked up.
I know they say you should blog everyday, i'll still get there. Just not enough hours in the day at the moment. We've been busy getting our mosaic jug orders out. A few late nights, a trip to the E.R. and were done. Yes the E.R. Who said there's no excitement and adrenalin rush in crafts. No more "unsupervised" mosaicing for Lyn-Maree. Lol!!!
