I finally finished embellishing my calendar. So here it is. I just loved Tim Holtz dressform die by sissix. So i themed my calendar round that. Used some dressform rub-ons a martha steward border punch, with black&white and sepia photo's. As complicated as the desk top calendar looks, it's actually very easy. A few peaces of chipboard, pattern paper and a roll of double sided tape and your off to making a wonderful gift for Grandad, dad's desk at work or any special friend.

Kitchen Girls!
While i was searching for cupcake images on the internet. I came across bakerellas blog and amazing, Cake Pops. I was so inspired, i went straight out and got her lovely bound book with over 40 ideas and tips. With Bakerella in hand we set off to make our first cake pops. I wasn't too sure about how it would taste, but it's amazing. Then my daughter decided she wanted to make her own. So off she went to school with her cake pops in hand.
Oh dear!!! I can see the gained pounds already? LOL!!!

Cuttlebug Challenge
It has taken a scrapbook challenge to get my creative juices going again. We needed to do a double page layout using the cuttlebug. I love butterflies. So when Sam from The Scrap Studio pulled out the cuttlebug cut & emboss butterfly papillons. I was ready for the challenge. My page is busier than what it usually is. The reason might be that i haven't scrapped for myself in over a year, and wanted to do everything on one layout.Well now i'm rearing to get going on the back log of scrapping i have. Thanks Sam...... Now i'll have to get myself a job to afford all the scrapping goodies i

Willowbridge Craft Market
Today was our first market day. Early morning was a bit wet, but after some moving and umbrellas we were off for a day of networking. Sold a few items, but got some contacts for supplying our products to shops. So it was a productive day for the future. Come join us 18 June again.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Our Easter away gave me some time to do some long awaited personal crafts i have not had time to get to. I finally finished my daughters bedroom mirror. Now we won't be seeing her much, as there will be lots of dancing and admiring. (not of the mirror though) This took some time, but was worth it. Now i'll have to do a mirror for madam no.2

Granny Crafter
If my mother hears me calling her a granny, she will not be to happy. But i'm so proud of her. She has been wanting to make something "crafty". I was quite shocked, because she's always saying she's not crafty or has no time. Well she made her first crafty thing. Decorated boxes for her 4 grandaughters easter eggs. I don't think all the easter eggs she got them will fit in this box, but it was nice watching her create. So remember, you never to old to learn something new.

First i stuck my ribbon the wrong way and then my paper upside down, but nothing undu can't fix. I then, as us scrappers do. Had to get the zutter for myself. Now i can bind to my hearts content. So watch this space!
Thanks for a great evening Belinda. Missed you there Sam. Hopefully i'll be in again soon.

Hoppy Easter
After all the Mosaic. I finally got to some scrapbooking. With Easter around the corner it had to be Easter themed. A pretty easter card an easter box and an easter basket. Fill them with easter eggs, yummy chocolates and give them to someone special. Nice teacher gift too.
