Another Challenge

StampTV had a challenge on making your own designer paper background. I decided to try Gina's bleach technique. I loved it. Pretty cool effect. I will be trying other colour cardstock with this technique. Go on try it. Stamp your image, emboss it and colour in with bleach. you'll be amazed at the end result, and it's so easy. To help the bleach along use your heatgun.

I just love these vintage book bundles for home decor. 

I could never find the right colour scheme for my home, so along comes my mom and  gives me these blank hardwood books.

 Now i can co-ordinate them with my own colour scheme. Mmm... What to do, Paint ? Cover ? Distress ? The choices are endless. Will keep you posted on my progress.

Inspirations

Well. I thought a new look blog would get me inspired to get blogging regularly. Let's see if it works. LOL!!! Here are two cards i made for the 2 release party challenges of stamptv. 

1st one was the pink challenge. You had to stamp or colour something that was not usually pink. I went with the frog as i don't have alot of GinaK design stamps yet. 

2nd was a masculine clean and simple card.
